Client spotlight: AngelaCARES

Last month I launched a brand new website for the New Jersey-based nonprofit organization AngelaCARES. AngelaCARES supports senior citizens, senior caregivers, and the community at large in Hudson County, NJ.

Before we started working together, the website had not been updated in 5 years, which is a long time in the digital space! Although the site had such important information reflecting the organization’s programs and services, the team felt that “it was time to upgrade to be more modern” and to be more impact focused. I’m so glad I was able to give them what they needed and wanted!

In our consultation call, Founder and CEO Angela McKnight and I discussed what she liked and didn’t like about the current site, her goals for the new site, her design preferences (their signature purple!), and any functionality they needed, such as a volunteer form. Once Angela gathered and wrote the content, I got to work building and designing a new brand new website on Squarespace.

I had the chance to speak to Angela about how the team feels about their new website.

BEFORE

AFTER

Tell me how you feel about your website now that the new site is launched: AngelaCARES website fits the times that we are in. My team loves it and we have been receiving great reviews! This is a great addition to us turning 10 years old in October!

How is your new website going to change how you approach your business or organization in the future?: The website allows us to share more our impact in a direct way! We are now more impact focus!

What would you say to someone who is sitting on the fence right now, debating whether they should work with me or not?: Meghan is very understanding and great to work with. I highly recommend others to work with her. I wear many hats and she knew how to manage me and my expectations! She had no problems in incorporating my feedback too!

Thank you, Angela and AngelaCARES! Enjoy your new website!
